The View from Row Z: Europe, and Other Delights

The Champions League knockout stages continue today, with Basel hosting Bayern, and Marseille welcoming struggling Italian giants Inter.

Going on as this post goes up, however, is Man City’s match in the burning parachute that is the Europa League knockout stages.  Money City faces Portuguese champions Porto at Fair Play Dodge Arena in Manchester (as of this post, it’s already 1-0 to the hosts).

There’s also action from Serie A, the Powership, and Ligue Uhn, among more today (all times Eastern):

  1. Christ, if they weren’t fucking Serie A’s coefficient I’d be happy. But at the moment, everything about Inter is sad.

  2. MP: At the Allianz? Yeah, Bayern are going to dickslap Basel. I don’t know that Inter will do the same at the San Siro, however.
