A View from Row Z: Spurs v. Seventhpool

Good luck, lads.

Today could be the day that Spurs’ title challenge ends. Again. For like the third time already this year. Or it could be just your average day where everyone laughs at Seventhpool for being generally terrible.  I’m hoping for the latter, but it could just as easily go the other way with Liverpool on a good run of form, having knocked both Manchester clubs out of cup competitions in recent weeks.

Luis Suarez returns for Liverpool, though he starts the game on the bench. Spurs are hit with a mini injury crisis at the moment with Kaboul, Sandro, Lennon, and Defoe all unavailable. Harry Redknapp also misses the match because his flight to Liverpool got canceled. Probably because some scouser stole the hubcaps off the plane.

Liverpool: Reina; Johnson, Kelly, Agger, Skrtel; Spearing, Kuyt, Gerrard, Adam; Carroll, Bellamy.

Subs: Doni, Suarez, Hendo, Coates, Downing, Carra, Aurelio.

Spurs: Friedel; Walker, Dawson, King, Assou-Ekotto; Livermore, Parker; Kranjcar, Modric, Bale; Adebayor.

Subs: Cudicini, Bongani, Nelsen, Rose, Luongo, Lancaster, Saha.

  1. I’m rooting for a game that involves all fans being unhappy. I hate the pool, but I do get a special gleam in my eye when Spurs fans get upset

  2. It’s nicely set up for us to put Suarez in for Carroll when he starts misfiring.
It should be trouble for the Spurs back line when they’re faced with the incessant verbal abuse from Bellamy (running around and calling everyone a cu** the entire game) and Suarez (por que negrito?).

  3. Downing on the bench means a Liverpool striker might actually receive an accurate cross from the left wing today.

  4. How in the f*ck is BAE not in jail for that shit on Gomez last week? Seriously, fuck the FA.

  5. Bale dove, shoved two players, and gave the ref a sarcastic thumbs up. Really not happy with that guy right now. Unacceptable.

  6. @Lorber: Dancing BAE is teh awesome. Also, Kyle Walker is best at shooting. He cares not for this “cross” of which you speak.

  7. garethbale,garethbale,ohfuckgarethbalemarkhimzomggarethBALEGARETHBALE! Reina.
Scott Parker is very, very good. I’m surprised he hasn’t been snatched up by one of the big clubs yet (hey oh!)

  8. Fantastic result from Spurs today. Ledley, Daws and especially Parker were on top form. I think Levy is the man for his transfer work and I get sick of everyone whining about him. We are in great shape. On to the Toons!
